Hello there again lovely survivors, this is Hostie here! We've made a bit of an overhaul for the weapon collection system for the server to make it much easier on everyone to handle. Now, you do not have to put any of your weapons in the containers by the front gates.

All you have to do is say you put all your weapons (firearms and ammo included) into it and leave a post-it, notepad, etc. that says 'Player Name's Weapons' in there. Then, once you take them out, you take the post-it out. This is to prevent ooc theft and to prevent any issues with say, a horde coming and having nothing to protect yourself with. Also, one weapon will be allowed per person ICly (versus however many you have OOCly).

This weapon cannot be a firearm and cannot be a bladed weapon. It must be a BLUNT weapon such as a baseball bat, hammer, club, etc.

So, those of you with weapons at the gates and in security's lock-up, just come see Marian Castle, Charles Gideon, or Lorelei Cross if they're online to get your weapons or ask an admin if they're online.

there are also other issues at play here, like accidents/mistakes and the occasional glitched item that eats up a lot of staff's time chasing down a problem from the wrong angle.

so, you're right, they can't lmao, but that's not the only reason this makes a little more practical sense.
