Miguel was born in a poor neighborhood of Houston, where, while a bright kid, had difficulties due to his socioeconomic status. At age 15, he joined up with a street gang known as Los Olvidados as a low level enforcer for some time, while also learning skills that involved things like drug dealing on the side. Eventually, after feeling that school was useless, Miguel dropped at at age 17 to manufacture and deal drugs full time.

Miguel, turned out to be a gifted chemist, and, living another life, he might've gone onto study chemistry. However, he mostly manufactured drugs, such as LSD, Crack Cocaine and Methamphetamine, which made him, and in turn the Los Olvidados, a lot of money. Around the same time, Miguel's mother was undergoing treatment for a rare form on heart cancer, and a lot of money he made went towards helping pay off her treatment.

However, during a sting operation in 2017, Miguel and several high ranking members of the Los Olvidados were arrested by the DEA, and Miguel was sentenced to 80 years in prison on charges ranging from Production, Distribution and Possession of various drugs. During the trial, Miguel's mother died due to complications arising from cancer, leaving him heart broken.

Miguel was being transferred to the penitentiary in Haven, Texas on May 18th when a large pile up stopped the transport van he was in. A large group of zombies attacked the vehicle, and Miguel and several other prisoners managed to escape in the ensuing chaos by grabbing the key to his handcuffs off the corpse of a guard, something that he does feel guilty about, but needed to do to save his own life.

Miguel is likely to go back into business, solo this time around, dealing with the newfound hellscape that is this new world.

Miguel stands at around 5ft 9in tall, and has a rather muscular build. His hair is black and messy and he has a patchy beard. His eyes are brown and his skin is a light tan color. He has a a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.
