  • Applications for What We Become: Survivor Stories are currently on hold while we work on creating our second wave of combat tests.

    What We Become: Survivor Stories is a series of bite-sized scenarios meant to test our new and improved combat system in action! Our first wave contained 5 different scenarios, all taking place within the What We Become universe. Our second wave will contain 5 more scenarios. If you've been waiting to play on the server, now's your chance!

    Additionally, each scenario has a limited number of slots for each role in the party, as well as an overall participation limit. If you apply for a role/scenario that is already full, you will be asked to apply for a different role/scenario. You can view the number of slots remaining for the current scenario on its respective forum post, linked above.

    Make sure to check out our latest newsletter if you haven't yet! It has lots of information about our upcoming lore, among other things.

File #3 - Descent
The year is 2032. You are a member of callsign Athena, a Coalition Unit led by Oliver Hanshan, who was deployed in the intense Battle of Celephais. Forty-five minutes ago, Terry Winters and her alliance successfully breached the facility, causing your forces to be steadily pushed back by numerous monstrosities. With the situation dire, an evacuation was ordered. Now, after being uprooted from LZ: Sparrow, you and a few surviving members of Athena make it inside Celephais with the promise of another LZ point being on the other side of the facility.
Takes place during the series finale of WWB2: What Remains.
This is a direct sequel to File #1: Extraction.
The original File #3, Wayward, has been moved back to the second test batch.
All surviving characters from File #1: Extraction are permitted to return for Descent without an application - This includes those of you who applied, and were accepted, but could not make it due to technical errors or scheduling conflicts. They will not contribute to the current pool of actual applicants, therefore as many as fifteen characters may be present, however, we will only accept eight applicants in total.
This one-shot has limited player availability slots. Be sure to get your application in as soon as possible to ensure your place in the test trials.
All options/information regarding items can be found in the kits. Feel free to play around with the options until you see something you like.
