Forums are coming along slowly.
As some may have noticed, things are changing constantly. This means the images, layout, permissions, etc. Most of the permissions have been set up though some custom permissions will be set.
There will also be some donator level perks on the forums. This means if you donate at all, you will have these perks. This includes but may not be limited to, additional thread bumps, changing name color, images on signatures, more lines for a signature, ability to deactivate your account for an unlimited time and reactivate it yourself (if you want to do that for some reason) opposed to only within 7 days, ability to change your name any time you want, reset your profile view counter and there will likely be more forum based benefits as well. Of course, we will continue to have custom tags as well for people which will be totally unique.

As you can see, the new forums utilize drop-down lists to keep things more compact. We will also be utilizing tags on posts as well which will assist in searching for posts.
Properly applied, even just searching "application" in this case should bring up your applications for example when tagged as such. You will be able to tag your own posts to make them more easily searched. This may or may not have a real benefit and time will tell just how useful it is.
