≫ WHAT WE BECOME PART 2: WHAT REMAINS APPLICATIONS CLOSED ≪

  • As of today (08/19/2021), we'll no longer be accepting applications for What We Become Part 2: What Remains.

We've given it some thought and have decided that with the current state of the lore, it's in everyone's best interest if we focus on what we have currently so that we can finish the story in a timely manner. Introducing new characters into the mix would not only complicate things, but it would be difficult for new players to acclimate considering the current player base consists exclusively of long-time players.

All currently pending applications will be processed, but the application form is closed so no new applications may be submitted.

Applications will open again closer to the release of our Build 41 lore. Info on that will be released at some point in the future, but I can at least confirm that we're making good progress with our writing and planning.

    Thanks for your understanding!!

It was the 18th of May, 2019 when the world came to a violent standstill. By the time anyone knew what was going on - it was already too late. The first reports came in the early Saturday morning, and by the following Friday - most of the east and western seaboards had collapsed. Hordes of people abandoned their vehicles on war-torn city streets simply to escape the chaos, fleeing on foot through legions of the seemingly untiring abominations who now ruled the roost. The population of the world was rapidly shrinking, and the world's governments were working tirelessly to stem the tide of the seemingly unstoppable enemy that had seemingly sprung up overnight. For once in the world's history, humanity was united - if only in it's downfall.

By the end of the second week, in the South-Western American state of Texas, the cities had fallen silent - much like the rest of the country. Thousands survived if only by luck, trampling their once-peers to escape the carnage. The survivors found themselves thrust into a hostile world unlike any other the majority of them had ever seen in their lifetimes. The last vestiges of the old world were breathing their final breaths, and the only witnesses were husks of men in suits, overseeing their destroyed demesnes from secure bunkers and offshore facilities, commanding remnants of armies that had been mostly decimated by the undead and desertion. For everyone else, however, the threat was very real - and very near. The choice was handed to them - survival or death? It was one they had to make, and fast.

EXPECTED LAUNCH: SATURDAY 9/21/19 @ 7:30EST
