The circumstances of life can be funny actually. Sometimes, you on a nonsense quest for nonsense and end up only finding nonsense. Such was the cases with Natalie "Nat" Brackenridge. Nat joined the CPF Rangers for an opportunity to make their father proud, and in end, ended up betraying the very people they once respected. What for? Revenge.
It started with Carl Miller killing their father in a very brutal fashion. One action led to another, and soon... Nat was consumed by a need. A need to remove bad people from the world. A need for revenge. A need for vengeance.
Yet, at the end of it all, Nat ended up with a bullet in their head from their very own gun. A gun they wanted to use to put an end to very person who shot them once, but was talked down.
If they had once regret, it was probably not killing him when they had a chance. Their conscious got in the way. They didn't want to take away somebody else's father.
It's funny how life turns out sometimes. You can never be too sure how its going to end. Sometimes it can be unexpected, sometimes you walk right into it so others can live.
If one thing was true about Nat, above all else, is that Nat cared about their friends, enough to give their life for them in the end. While we can argue over the merits over why they choose to do so, the fact of the matter is that they still did.
What can be said. Nat lived life by their own terms, and died, by their own terms. And that isn't something a lot of people can say, can they? Nat lived by their own morals, one where they always believed they were doing the right thing. And in the end, they got a final fuck you in. You might be able to kill Nat themself, but they surely live in the lives of those close to them, for better.... or for worse. This is however, the end of the story of Natalie Providence Brackenridge. A loyal friend...and bitter enemy.
