*Bang...Bang...Bang*
The banging was loud from where Miguel held up, sitting on the toilet in an abandoned home, the Horde caught up to him it seems, and where he had been staying the last few days, as he had been unable to get home.
*Shatter*
The sound of glass breaking told Miguel everything he needed to know about the situation. Did he stay in the bathroom and cower, ensuring no chance of his survival, or did he try to make a break for it.
Miguel chose the latter.
Was it the best idea at the time? Miguel wondered that for the next couple of hours. It likely delayed the inevitable, his demise.
While he was escaping, Miguel was grabbed by a zombie, and in the struggle, it forced his way, biting down on his neck.
----------------------------------------
Miguel was walking down the road, he was woozy. His makeshift bandage did seem to stop the bleeding, but not the pain. His neck throbbed with the pain of the bite wound. Miguel knows what happens to those who were bitten, he had seen it himself. He was going to go, soon. How long was the only question. Miguel looked around, he was alone, possibly the last man on earth, or at least in this part of Texas.
That meant he would die alone.
Geniuses didn't die alone.
Yet... that was his fate, to succumb to this damn wound... and then... he didn't want that. Miguel sighed as he walked down the dirt path to his makeshift home, only to find another shock.
It was burnt down.
Miguel had nothing... there was nothing he could use to make this go smoothly... yet... Miguel was a genius, at least, he thought himself as one. He had one more trick up his sleeve. Miguel walked into the forest.
He was determined to find a way to end it.... Before...
