Jim stands at a height of five foot nine with a somewhat athletic build. His dirty blonde hair is long and shaggy, his beard in a similar state of relative unkemptness. He has tired looking blue eyes, his skin a moderate tan complexion.
He carries himself with the general motif of a uncaring nihilistsurvivor. Those inclined may recognise him as the shortstop for the Bellarmine Knights baseball team.
Jim survived the outbreak at the Bellarmine University with his right leg crushed by debris, and his vulnerable mind shattered in ways irreparable. He escaped with his best friend, Francis King.
