≫ WHAT WE BECOME: SURVIVOR STORIES APPLICATIONS ≪

  • Applications for What We Become: Survivor Stories are currently on hold while we work on creating our second wave of combat tests.

What We Become: Survivor Stories is a series of bite-sized scenarios meant to test our new and improved combat system in action! Our first wave contained 5 different scenarios, all taking place within the What We Become universe. Our second wave will contain 5 more scenarios. If you've been waiting to play on the server, now's your chance!

Additionally, each scenario has a limited number of slots for each role in the party, as well as an overall participation limit. If you apply for a role/scenario that is already full, you will be asked to apply for a different role/scenario. You can view the number of slots remaining for the current scenario on its respective forum post, linked above.

Make sure to check out our latest newsletter if you haven't yet! It has lots of information about our upcoming lore, among other things.

Little is known about Maxwell’s life before the outbreak. When asked, he brushes the questions away with a gentle hand and a calm smile. No point in digging up what has been buried, he always says—a feeling that extends to most of those calling Monroe home. Despite this, Heath’s lack of transparency has yet to affect his position as a trusted member. Having been with the group since its conception, Maxwell has served as the primary physician for Monroe’s residents for around two years. Heath spends many of his evenings staying up late into the night, the soft glow of his quarters serving as a constant reminder of the doctor’s eccentric practices. He keeps his rooms impeccably clean, to start—and God forbid someone were to misplace any of his neatly sorted devices. Some might believe his quirks to be coping mechanisms. Others may see them as a sign of deteriorating mental health. Regardless, the doctor has only ever shown utmost care in the well-being of those sharing the walls around him, doing his best to remain ever vigilant in his preparation for the worst.

Heath is a quiet person. He tends not to speak unless spoken to—to break this pattern means it is either work related or he must feel very strongly about the topic at hand. Once engaged in conversation, he can prove to be a kind and understanding individual. Easy to get along with, for some. Maxwell practically never displays any outward passion. If upset or angered, he tends to become a recluse, hiding away until he feels himself composed enough to face his fellow members of Monroe.
