The list of information below is not all required knowledge. However, if your character requires it for some reason—or if you are just genuinely curious about the history leading up to this one-shot—please read below
  • Takes place after the six years after the events of What We Become: Part II.
  • A monstrophist specializes in investigating, discovering, and hunting mutated anomalies and evolutions stemming from the Red Eye virus. It is difficult, isolating and oft thankless work.
  • A hunter is a seasoned monster hunter for hire, experienced in tracking and eliminating various mutated anomalies. They typically have years of experience under their belts.
  • The Monstrophist's Field Guide is a guide for some more common monsters you've probably heard of, or at least encountered in the past:
    • It can be found here: LINK
  • Digby Sterling is a renowned monstrophist, known for penning some of the earliest iterations of the Monstrophist's Field Guide alongside his son. He is credited with numerous breakthroughs regarding different variants of pre-existing "core" monsters, as well as the discovery of various regional creatures across both the United States and South America.
