Our new bounty system will offer a new occupation, goal, and method of acquiring large amounts of coinage in return for the tracking down and capture (or killing) of dangerous individuals, both player-played and NPCs. Periodically, these will show up within a new thread on our Discord dubbed "#ingame_bounties" with specific parameters, descriptions, and backstories surrounding them.
As you build notoriety around your characters, you may eventually rub people the wrong way in the CPF or Brighton and receive a bounty on your head. If this happens, you may suddenly be the target of interest for a lot of people who used to be your friends. You can build notoriety for a whole slew of reasons ranging from committing crimes, murdering members of CPF Law Enforcement, robbing Brighton-based caravans, disrupting general rules of law, or making world-event decisions that may not be in the best interest of the respective factions.
You can approach each of these bounties however you want; lethally or non-lethally. Apprehending fugitives alive will often offer a bonus payment, whereas bringing in someone dead will prompt either a lower payment, or it staying as the base-line if a reward is pre-determined on the posters.
Payments will range in price depending on the number of crimes and potential dangers offered by the bounty itself. It can range from anywhere between 1000c to 15000c in some greater cases. By turning in bounties, you will also receive more "respect" and/or "reputation" with said factions and may be able to negotiate better prices or better contracts in the future with them.
Good luck!
