≫ WHAT WE BECOME: SURVIVOR STORIES APPLICATIONS ≪

  • Applications for What We Become: Survivor Stories are currently on hold while we work on creating our second wave of combat tests.

What We Become: Survivor Stories is a series of bite-sized scenarios meant to test our new and improved combat system in action! Our first wave contained 5 different scenarios, all taking place within the What We Become universe. Our second wave will contain 5 more scenarios. If you've been waiting to play on the server, now's your chance!

Additionally, each scenario has a limited number of slots for each role in the party, as well as an overall participation limit. If you apply for a role/scenario that is already full, you will be asked to apply for a different role/scenario. You can view the number of slots remaining for the current scenario on its respective forum post, linked above.

So the kids fell asleep and I'm bored, so I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the music from various lores that stand out to me. Or you if you want to join in. I'm pumped about the new lore coming up, so I figure this might pass the time for a bit. Anywho, I posted this in discord, but my first one is Superstition by Stevie Wonder. Mind played this in the Bartertown Lore for Abe and Erin Fontaine, mixed with sound bites from Vic if I recall correctly, and the result was one of the truly eerie/scary events in my play time here. To this day, whenever I hear this song, it freaks me out a little bit.

Feel free to post others if you're bored like me, I'm sure I will too!

Woah wait, seriously? I've never heard that before lol.
"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me - and I'm feeling good"

I always really liked that in the context of a zombie apocalypse, hehe. I wanted to make a trailer for the server way back with the song and plenty of zombie visuals, but sadly I never finished it.

Literally anything by NIN brings me back to the Ashwood Cove days, a NIN song always accompanied each event announcement.

Didn't Ashwood also have a ton of Blue Oyster Cult? There's one song from them that stuck with me for that lore, but I can't remember for the life of me. Also, Mind you need to stop being lazy and do event announcements next lore with music again.

I am bored and I cannot sleep.

I don't remember using much NIN for Ashwood, I probably did but none of those songs stuck with me as much as I wish they did. What I remember most is Blue Oyster Cult, and Ivy. I still have a couple of those songs on hand, and here they are.

This was more or less what I saw, and still see as the main theme of Ashwood Cove. Such a good song.

For BOC, here are some I remember.

And fear not, even with my age-born laziness I am going to be picking up music included in posts again. Probably not every episode, but absolutely for big events. We did it this lore too, here's some from that.
