We've given it some thought and have decided that with the current state of the lore, it's in everyone's best interest if we focus on what we have currently so that we can finish the story in a timely manner. Introducing new characters into the mix would not only complicate things, but it would be difficult for new players to acclimate considering the current player base consists exclusively of long-time players.
All currently pending applications will be processed, but the application form is closed so no new applications may be submitted.
Applications will open again closer to the release of our Build 41 lore. Info on that will be released at some point in the future, but I can at least confirm that we're making good progress with our writing and planning.
Thanks for your understanding!!
» This status can be cured by using the PUT YOURSELF OUT action.
» This status cannot be cured.
» This status can be cured by using a BANDAGE.
» Upon being successfully hit by an attack that deals guaranteed INFECTION damage, such as BITE or DEVOUR, you will become infected with the ZOMBIE virus.
» On an attack such as SCRATCH that has the possibility of infecting you, you will be asked to roll a D20. If you receive a roll below 10, you fail and are INFECTED.
» This state will progressively worsen and can only be cured by utilizing SERUM, an item purchasable at certain traders, recovered during events or harvested from certain enemies.
» This status can be cured through two different methods; either by removing yourself from the element causing the effect or by surviving FIVE turn-cycles after being hit with an attack.
» While bound, in some circumstances you will take FIVE points of damage every turn cycle, and in some, you will not. This will be circumstantial depending on the nature of how you were bound.
» You can use an action to escape being bound. If you are bound by something such as a NET or WEB, you will have to roll a D20 with above 10 being an escape.
» If you are being actively bound by a monster, you will need to roll a D20 against a D20 from them. If your roll is larger, you will escape.
» How you achieve this goal is ultimately up to you, but you will be playing for the opposing side from there-on.
» If you fail this roll TWO consecutive times in a row, you will temporarily lose control of your character's actions (not dialogue) and will only be able to break free once the enemy mind-controlling you is defeated.
