How long does it usually take for a character to be whitelisted?

the current story is that there is a town called monroe thats having some, shall we say, political issues .. there is a rival-ish faction called the cpf that has their own political issues .. there is friction between the two .. and occasionally bandits, zombies, or monsters show up to spark the flames

the server itself is going through a low population phase .. our loremaster has been sick and story progression is limited while he's recovering, and more than a few people are waiting for build 41 to come out .. we have a handful of dedicated folks keeping the current lore going, myself included, but due to time zone mismatches we have to coordinate through discord as to when everyone shows up .. just logging in is a gamble that you'll be able to find someone

That's more the background elements, as your average individual is mostly intent on survival this long after your standard societal services have broken down .. places that have managed to maintain some level of public utilities are practically paradises, communities remain small and tight-knit, and highway banditry is oft
the rule rather than the exception

the lore threads are not necessarily insightful .. the essentials are that a zombie virus swept the world around 14ish years ago, maybe 15 now .. definitely zombies and not just infected, as the host dies and is reanimated .. the disease itself was studied heavily (though, it would seem, to little effect as they were unable to stop it). However, characters who have been around the block would know there's more going on besides just zombies. There's talk of flesh-eating fog and of horrible mutant monsters in some locations.

Welcome! We're going through a brief bit of inactivity right now - our current lore is still going on, but a large amount of our player base is waiting for the animation build to release. There's a couple of EU players on the server, too, but a large amount of our events are set for the EST timezone.
